The proclamation comes after the team captured its first-ever ACHA Division I national title — capping off a season that included a conference championship and a statement win over defending NCAA champion Denver.

The UNLV Skatin' Rebels beat Adrian College 7-3 to win the ACHA National Championship. This was the second straight National Championship game UNLV played versus Adrian College, but with a different outcome as the Skatin' Rebels lost 3-0 in 2024.
